Pray for Our Country and Our Leaders

“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that, my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”

FAVORITE SONG FRIDAY: EASTER EDITION

I decided I would do an Easter Song Edition this week. There are so many great songs that capture the moment around Easter. Some are traditional and quite old, and some are new and upbeat.

  • Ray Boltz's "Watch the Lamb"
  • Dolly Parton's "He's Alive"
  • Sandy Patty's "Via Dolorosa"
  • Newsong's "Arise My Love"
  • Dallas Holm's "Rise Again"
  • Sandy Patty's "Was It A Moment Like This"
  • "Ten Thousand Angels"
  • "Rock of Ages"
  • The Cathedrals' "Then Came the Morning"
  • Hillsong's "Worthy is the Lamb"
  • The Florida Boys' "When He Was on the Cross"
  • The Greene's "They'll Never Crucify Him Again"

I'm sure there's SO MANY MORE, but off the top of my head, this is what I got. What are your favorite Easter songs? What touches your heart? Is your list similar to mine? SOUND OFF!!!

I totally did this wrong....I "scheduled" a post on Thursday anticipating that you would do this again...I wasn't near a computer Friday...

If I had done an Easter song it would have been "He's Alive" or 'Watch the Lamb"...those are my two favorites...Oh well, looking forward to next week...
