Ok, so I'm only 20 days late with these pics...Ha! Aiden had his very first Karate Demo on August 1st. He takes at the Res YMCA with Brandi & Drew's son, Brendon (one of Aiden's best buds!), and he LOVES it! He's actually sort of a Karate savant so far, from all I can tell. You should see him! His push ups are awesome and he can do jumping jacks better than me. He's learning discipline that is just so imperative at his age. He comes home so proud of himself. I think we've found a good activity that fits his personality. He's always been a little 'growny' for his age and Karate really seems to be great for him. He's not 'all over the place' like you'd expect a 4 y/o to be when asked to pay attention for an hour...he's very focused. I'm so very proud of him! We may have a black belt on our hands here in a few years!!!
