I am working in Medical Administration Service and I am enjoying it, but it's got a much different flow than social work did and there's very little down time. Anthony is still working for JSI and is out of town during the week running jobs across the state. It's tough having him away from the family so we cherish our time with him on the weekends. During the week, I'm pretty much a single parent, and our poor house looks like a tornado went through it each week by Friday.
The kids are FABULOUS. They are so stinkin' funny that I wish I had a video camera following me to document their every move, especially the ones when I'm not there...which feels like all of the time now. I'm a little down in the mouth because I feel like there just aren't enough hours in the day to spend with my kiddos. I get off work at 5pm...to the school by 5:35 (if I'm lucky)....home by 6:15 or so. I'd like to get them in bed by 8:00. That gives me less than 2 hours with them each night. Pretty much sucks. There's no other word for it. I was telling...no, admitting, to a girl at work the other day that I get semi-excited when my children get sick because I FINALLY get to spend time with them. That's so sad :( I know this to shall pass, and I'm hoping and praying it passes sooner than later.
